Hello! My name is Yajindra Mangra, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, 73 Henrietta Anna is where I find my inspiration as a carpenter. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultures of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant community and the stories that shape us. Whether it’s the soothing sounds of the Pomeroon River or the bustling markets filled with fresh produce and spices, every corner of my hometown holds a memory.
As a carpenter, my work reflects the warmth and creativity of Guyanese craftsmanship. I draw influence from our local traditions, whether it's infusing the beauty of our heritage into furniture or designing pieces that tell a story. Just like the diverse flavors of our cuisine—think of the mouthwatering pepperpot or the sweet taste of ripe mangoes—my creations are a blend of different influences that aim to capture the essence of Guyana.
