Despite the challenges we face, like economic hardships and scarcity that many have spoken about, I remain hopeful. There’s a rich sense of community here, and our diaspora is a testament to our enduring spirit. I’m grateful for connections with the Guyanese abroad who continue to celebrate our culture, whether it’s through music, food, or simply reminiscing about home.
