Greetings! I am Yvonne Boyal, a farmer proudly rooted in the lush landscapes of River Curumeru, Wakapau, located in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. My days are spent nurturing the land, growing a variety of crops that reflect our diverse and rich agricultural heritage. The vibrant community here, with its connection to the Pom River and the surrounding areas, continually inspires me. I often reminisce about the days spent near the Pom River Grant, where the sounds of nature and the warmth of neighbors create a true sense of home.
As someone who cherishes my Guyanese roots, I take great pride in our culture, infused with flavors from our rich history.
