With a distinct blend of Afro-Guyanese and Indo-Guyanese influences, I embrace the unique flavors of our food—nothing beats a hearty plate of pepperpot or a sweet treat of guyanese coconut drops during family gatherings. My heart beats for the lush landscapes of our rivers, and I often find solace along the Pomeroon River, where the beauty of nature and the warmth of our people come alive.
As a housewife, I find joy in nurturing my family and sharing the vibrant spirit of Guyanese culture with them. I cherish the celebrations that bring our communities together, from Mashramani to Diwali, reflecting our shared heritage and unity. I’m also an avid supporter of local talent, whether it’s enjoying the rhythms of our homegrown artists like Drew Thoven and Timeka Marshal or participating in community events that showcase the best of Guyana's art and culture.
