Hello! I’m Zamantha Abdool, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically from 418 North Housing in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in a vibrant community with a rich cultural heritage has shaped who I am today. Our landscapes, from the lush Pomeroon River to the majestic Torurab Hill, are not just places; they are a part of my identity. I often reminisce about the sweet aroma of cook-up rice and the delightful taste of pepperpot that brings family and friends together during festive occasions.
As an active member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our homeland.
