I’ve had the privilege to experience the warmth and resilience of my fellow Guyanese, whether we’re sharing a meal at a riverbank or celebrating our rich traditions during festivals. I also feel a deep connection to our diaspora community; whether in Jamaica enjoying the best Caribbean Chinese food or elsewhere, it’s heartening to see how we all carry a piece of Guyana with us.
