Hello! I’m Abdool Karim, a proud Guyanese and dedicated driver residing in the Essequibo 529 New Housing Scheme, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region, I’ve come to appreciate the rich culture and natural beauty that Guyana offers, from the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River to the sounds of the rainforest. In my spare time, I love indulging in our local cuisine—nothing beats a plate of pepperpot or some fresh fish and bake from the nearby market. I often join friends at Portion Manawarin for lively gatherings, where we celebrate our heritage with music and dance, reminding us all of the spirit that unites us, whether at home or abroad. The camaraderie within the diaspora is something I cherish deeply, as it keeps our traditions alive and well, no matter where we are.
