Hello! My name is Adelle Baird, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up near the beautiful Pomeroon River, I've been deeply influenced by the rich traditions and warm-hearted spirit that define our culture. As a resident of the Coast 48 Sheriff Street area, I am fortunate to live in a place where the natural beauty is matched by the kindness of our neighbors. The vibrant settlements around us, such as Lower Pomeroon River and Grant Covent Garden, form a close-knit community where everyone looks out for one another. I cherish the connections I've built with my fellow Guyanese, both here and among the diaspora, as we share stories and experiences that keep our culture alive, no matter where we roam.
In my daily life, I am dedicated to promoting the unique aspects of our Pomeroon heritage, whether through community events or engaging with those who have moved abroad.
