Hello! I’m Ajodhya Narayan, a dedicated rice farmer based on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, just 156 east of the Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant community, where the rich soil meets the winding rivers that have shaped our way of life. Rice farming isn’t just a job for me; it’s a proud tradition that connects me to my ancestors and nourishes my family and neighbors. Each harvest is a celebration, much like our festivals, where we gather to share delicious meals like cook-up rice and pepperpot, bringing everyone together in harmony.
