Greetings! My name is Albert Cabral, and I proudly call River Massarie Settlement in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a security guard, I spend my days ensuring the safety of my community, but my true passion lies in sharing the vibrant culture and rich heritage of my beloved country. From the lush landscapes to the bustling markets, Guyana is a place where every corner tells a story, and I cherish each moment I get to be part of it.
Having traveled to various places, including the diaspora communities in places like New York City, I know firsthand how the flavors of Guyanese cuisine can transport you back home. The unique blend of spices in our traditional dishes, whether it's pepperpot during the holidays or a plate of cook-up rice, simply cannot be replicated anywhere else. After all, as one of my friends once said, “You can taste the love in every bite!”

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
