Hello! My name is Alfred Hunte, and I proudly call Coast 26 Redlock Essequibo, located in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the mouthwatering flavors of pepper pot and roti to the rhythmic beats of our calypso music, every aspect of our local culture reflects the warmth and resilience of our people.
As a resident of Essequibo, I cherish our close-knit community, where neighbors become family and stories are shared over a plate of cook-up rice. The natural beauty of our rivers and the iconic Kaieteur Falls remind me of the untamed spirit of our nation.
