Welcome! I'm Alim Khan, a proud Guyanese labourer residing in the vibrant community of Essequibo, specifically in Block 8 of New Pomeroon-Supenaam. Language is another vital aspect of my identity. In my neighborhood, Creole is a part of everyday conversation, reflecting the warmth and camaraderie among us. It's not uncommon to hear someone say, "Essi kwibo!" when sharing a laugh or a story. As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I recognize the importance of staying connected with our roots, especially as many of us venture abroad for better opportunities.
