Hello! My name is Alvin Gregory, and I’m proud to call the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. I live on the Coast 06 Public Road, surrounded by the lush beauty of the Pomeroon River, an area steeped in history and culture. The sounds of the river, the smell of ripe plantains frying on the stove, and the laughter of friends gathering around a pot of curry are what make my heart feel at home. Each day, I work hard as a labourer, contributing to the life and community we cherish so deeply.
Growing up in St. Monica, I have a special connection to the rich traditions of our Guyanese culture. From enjoying a warm plate of cook-up rice with family to celebrating special occasions like weddings, every moment is filled with the spirit of togetherness. I eagerly look forward to the times I can join my friends and family for gatherings that remind us of our roots—even if it means asking for that pretty Indian girl to join our festivities!
