Hello! I’m Analie Henry, a proud resident of Capoey Lake Top in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of this country has deeply influenced who I am today. From the rich flavors of pepperpot and roti to the rhythmic beats of our local music, I cherish the unique blend of influences—be it our Indigenous roots, African heritage, or the Indian and Indonesian flavors that have melded into our daily lives.
Living in Guyana means being a part of a diverse community where every corner tells a story. Whether I'm enjoying a serene afternoon by the lake or taking part in community celebrations, I am continually reminded of the complexities that make our culture so rich.
