Hello! I’m Jonathan Jacobs, a proud resident of Capoey Lake Top in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush green landscapes and vibrant communities of the Pomeroon, I have always felt a deep connection to my roots. Guyana is undergoing an exciting transformation, and I am thrilled to be part of a dynamic shift that showcases our rich culture and potential to the world.
As someone who cherishes the flavors of our local cuisine, nothing brings me more joy than sharing a plate of pepperpot or a bowl of cook-up rice with family and friends. I fondly remember the days when the aroma of Chinese food from local vendors would fill the streets—it's a unique fusion that reflects our diverse heritage.
