Hello! I'm Anasha Smith, a proud resident of Mission in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Living in this vibrant community allows me to embrace our rich culture, from the rhythmic beats of our local music that get everyone on their feet at weddings, to the delightful aroma of pepperpot simmering on the stove during festive gatherings. It's these moments that showcase the warmth and spirit of our people, and I cherish every opportunity to participate in and share them.
As a member of the diaspora community, I have also come to appreciate the connections we share with Guyanese living abroad.
