Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Andrea Emanuel, and I proudly call River Mora Settlement in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant rivers of this area has deeply influenced who I am. From the sweet smell of ripe mangoes to the rich flavors of our local dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, my roots are firmly planted in the diverse and delicious culture of my homeland.
Guyana is not just about breathtaking landscapes; it’s about the community and connections that thrive here. Whether it’s a friendly chat with neighbors over a bowl of cook-up rice or celebrating Diwali with the colorful lights and joyful festivities, the warmth of Guyanese people is something you'll always remember. We share borders with Venezuela, Suriname, and Brazil, which adds to the rich blend of cultures and traditions that define us.
I carry the spirit of Guyana with me, extending the warmth and hospitality of our communities to the diaspora. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
