Greetings from the vibrant Essequibo Coast! My name is Andrea Narace, and I proudly call Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a dedicated labourer, I embrace the hard work and resilience that our community embodies. Growing up here, I've been surrounded by the rich traditions of Guyanese culture—whether it's the aroma of pepper pot simmering on Christmas morning or the joyous celebrations of weddings that can stretch over three spirited days. Each event is a testament to our close-knit community, where laughter and love fill the air.
Living in Essequibo, I’m fortunate to be near some of our country's stunning natural beauty, from the lush rainforest to the winding rivers that define our landscape. I often reminisce about the days spent exploring the Pom River, where the waters are as lively as the stories shared by our elders. It's this connection to our land and heritage that fuels my passion for working and contributing to the growth of our community.
