Welcome! I’m Andrew Benjamin, a proud carpenter hailing from the serene Essequibo 1B, Orangestein East in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in Essequibo, I have a profound appreciation for our local delicacies, from a hearty plate of pepperpot during Christmas to sweet, fresh mangoes in the summer. The sense of community here is exceptional; whether it’s gathering with neighbors for a cook-up or sharing stories about the riverbanks, these moments foster a strong connection to our heritage. I often reminisce about festive occasions at Kairimap Creek and the laughter shared with friends at Massarie Island.
