Greetings! My name is Andrew Persaud, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home, specifically the charming community of Walton Hall Anna in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from the mouthwatering pepperpot served during festive occasions to the lush landscapes that cradle our daily lives. As a resident, I enjoy the communal spirit, where neighbors gather not just to share food but also stories, laughter, and the essence of what it means to be Guyanese.
Having lived in the heart of Guyana, I’ve seen firsthand how our diverse communities come together, whether it's at the local markets filled with fresh produce or during lively festivities like Mashramani, celebrating our nation’s independence.
