Hello! I’m Aneca Isaacs, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically Middle Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has shaped who I am today. From enjoying sweet guinep during the hot afternoons to dancing the night away at weddings with family and friends, my roots run deep in the heart of this beautiful nation. Guyana's unique blend of cultures and traditions, whether it’s savoring the rich flavors of cook-up rice or celebrating Diwali and Mashramani, are essential parts of my everyday life.
As I navigate the modern world, I cherish the memories of simpler times in our close-knit community. Here on the Essequibo Coast, we embody the spirit of warmth and hospitality that Guyanese are known for. I believe in preserving our local customs, while also adapting to the changes that come with progress.
