Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our diverse traditions—from the tantalizing flavors of cook-up rice and pepperpot to the colorful celebrations that light up our streets during Mashramani and Diwali.
