Greetings! Iām Annjaney Doodnauth, a proud seamstress hailing from the vibrant community of Tiger Bay Tushen, located in the heart of East Bank Essequibo. My work is inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, where every stitch tells a story and every fabric echoes the warmth of our intertwined histories. Here in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, we are not just known for our lush landscapes and the gentle flow of the Essequibo River, but also for the incredible flavors of our traditional cuisine, from pepperpot to metemgee, which bring families together around the dinner table.
