Hello! I’m Anthony Alphanso, a proud resident of Lower Pom River Grant in the heart of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has shaped my deep appreciation for our local culture and traditions. From the rich flavors of our beloved pepperpot to the joyful rhythms of a tassa band during festivals, every aspect of our way of life reflects the warmth and resilience of our people.
As someone who calls this beautiful region home, I enjoy sharing stories about our local landmarks, such as the Pomeroon River and Kairée Island. These places hold a special significance for us, serving as both a source of livelihood and a gathering space for families and friends. My connection to the diaspora is also important to me; I cherish the stories of fellow Guyanese who carry our heritage with them, no matter where they go. Their experiences remind me that we all share a common bond, despite the distances that may separate us.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
