Hello! I’m Anthony Joseph, a proud Guyanese labourer based in the scenic Pomeroon-Supenaam region, specifically on Old Market Street. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the lush landscapes are as rich as our culture. Whether it’s the warm smiles of my neighbors or the sound of the Pomeroon River gently flowing, every moment here feels like home. I often reminisce about the local delicacies, especially the mouthwatering pepperpot and the sweet delights of our cassava pone that remind me of family gatherings and community celebrations.
Though I have spent some time away, including stints in London, I always find my way back to the heart of Guyana. The connection with my homeland never fades, whether it’s through the flavors of our food or the stories exchanged with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora. I relish every opportunity to share experiences about our beautiful landscapes, from the bustling streets of Georgetown to the tranquil banks of the Pomeroon River, which I fondly refer to as the "Land of Promise."
