Hello! I’m Antonio Sahadeo, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from the vibrant community of Sand Quarter in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My life here is deeply intertwined with the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, where the rhythms of the river and the flavors of local dishes like pepperpot and roti resonate in my daily experiences. Living near the picturesque rivers like the Pomeroon and the inviting landscapes of River Cocorite Landing, I am constantly reminded of the natural beauty that surrounds us.
As a Guyanese, I share a unique connection with our diaspora, who often reminisce about our diverse heritage, from the days of the West Indies Federation to the melting pot that is modern-day Guyana.
