Hello! Iām Anuradha Budhan, a proud resident of Prem Nagar in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up near the serene banks of the Pom River, I have always been deeply connected to the vibrant culture and traditions of my homeland. The rich flavors of local dishes, from spicy pepperpot to sweet guava cheese, hold cherished memories of family gatherings and community celebrations that reflect our warm, welcoming spirit.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the significance of maintaining our roots while embracing opportunities abroad. Whether sharing stories about my hometown's lush landscapes or the lively markets in Georgetown, I find joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese and celebrating our unique heritage, from the rhythms of soca and calypso to the colorful festivities of Mashramani.
Currently, I reside in the charming Coastal Demerara region, where I continue to engage with my community and work towards uplifting the voices of those around me.
