Greetings! My name is Anzel Beresford, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the lush landscape of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I work as a miner, contributing to the rich natural resources that our beautiful country is known for. Guyana, with its vibrant culture and diverse communities, has shaped my life experiences and instilled in me a deep appreciation for our local traditions and cuisine. In my travels around Essequibo, I've come to appreciate the warmth of our communities, despite the occasional frustrations that arise from our daily lives. It's true that a shift in mindset is needed among us Guyanese, as many of us are focused on our personal struggles. Yet, I believe that within us lies the potential for growth and mutual support.
