Hello! I’m Arron James, a proud Guyanese sailor hailing from the serene banks of River Macaseema in Kabakaburi, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River, I've developed a deep love for my homeland, where the rhythm of life flows as smoothly as the waters that cradle our communities. Whether it's taking in the vibrant culture, indulging in a hearty plate of pepperpot, or enjoying the sweet notes of our local music, Guyana truly is my favorite place on earth.
As a sailor, I've traversed many waters, yet there's nothing quite like the feeling of navigating the rich, biodiverse waterways of the Essequibo and Pomeroon rivers. The warmth and resilience of our people inspire me every day, reminding me of the importance of honesty and community. While I enjoy sharing tales of my adventures with those in the diaspora, I also recognize the need for us to strive for betterment in our beloved land.
