Greetings! I am Ashmonie Spencer, a passionate designer based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region at Coast 1 Onderneeming. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I draw inspiration from our rich culture, diverse heritage, and the warm spirit of our people. Whether it’s the taste of a well-spiced pepperpot on a family gathering or the colorful festivals celebrating our Indian, African, and Indigenous roots, these experiences shape my creative vision.
As a proud Guyanese, I believe in the potential of our homeland. While we face challenges, including the need for improved hospitality and hygiene standards in our communities, I also see immense promise for growth and development. I often echo sentiments shared by my fellow Guyanese in the diaspora, who yearn for a better future for our country.
