Growing up amidst the lush greenery and the flowing waters of the Pomeroon River has profoundly shaped my creative journey. My work is inspired by the rich tapestry of Guyanese culture, from the vibrant colors of our traditional clothing to the intricate patterns found in our local crafts. Whether it's the aroma of pepperpot wafting through the air during holiday gatherings or the festive spirit that ignites during Mashramani, these experiences fuel my passion for design.
As a proud member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish our community’s stories and strive to incorporate them into my designs. Guyana is not just the bustling streets of Georgetown; it's also the serene beauty of places like Kabakaburi and the welcoming spirit of our people.
