Hello! My name is Asif Yakub, and I hail from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically Nursery School Street in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I take pride in contributing to my community while embracing the rich cultural heritage that makes our nation unique. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant traditions of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local cuisine, from delicious pepperpot to the ever-popular cook-up rice.
