Hello! I’m Aubrey Hill, a proud son of Guyana, currently living in the vibrant community of 06 Melville Wakenaam, nestled in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, known for its lush rainforests, the winding Pomeroon River, and the rich flavors of our local cuisine. There’s nothing quite like a plate of pepperpot or a bowl of metemgee to remind me of home. I carry the warmth of my culture with me, whether I’m sharing a meal with family or engaging in conversations about our beloved land.
As a labourer, I appreciate the resilience and strength of our people. Guyana has faced many challenges, but our spirit remains unbroken. I've witnessed firsthand the hard work and dedication of my fellow Guyanese, whether we're tending to our farms or engaging in community projects. I also cherish the connections we have within the diaspora.
