Hello! I’m Avena Permansingh, a proud resident of Pom. River Grant in Burn Bush Profit, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of our riverine communities has profoundly shaped my identity. From the distinct sounds of the Pomeroon River to the aroma of fresh cook-up rice and fish, everything about home brings me joy and a sense of belonging.
As a Guyanese, I carry the spirit of our people wherever I go.
