Greetings! I’m Avinash Roopram, a proud jeweller hailing from the vibrant Coast Demerara community. Growing up near the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River and the historic towns like St. Monica, I draw inspiration from our rich culture and heritage, infusing traditional techniques with a modern flair.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of staying connected to our roots, whether through the flavors of a good curry or the warmth of our community gatherings. I cherish the stories shared over meals, often debating whether that was really duck in the curry! The essence of Guyana is woven into everything I do, from the gemstones I select to the stories engraved in my designs, reminiscent of the vibrant life along the Upper Pom River.
