Greetings! My name is Avishkar Sewdath, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the 51 Public Road, in the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am deeply connected to the rich cultural heritage of Guyana. Growing up in this lush landscape, I've always been inspired by the natural beauty surrounding us, from the serene rivers to the bustling markets that bring our community together.
Food plays a significant role in my life, much like it does for many Guyanese. Sundays are often a special occasion filled with the delightful aroma of homemade dishes, reminiscent of my childhood. Whether it’s a plate of pepper pot or a treat of Chinese food, these flavors remind me of our diverse culture and the memories shared with family and friends. I often reminisce about the joyous gatherings where food brings us together, a tradition that I cherish even as I connect with the diaspora.
