Hello! Iām Avril Benjamin, a proud housekeeper from the vibrant community of Anna Regina in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich sounds of our culture, I've always cherished the flavors of our traditional dishes, from pepperpot to fried plantain, and the way they connect us to our roots.
Having lived here all my life, I find joy in sharing the beauty of our landmarks, like the Essequibo River and the iconic St. George's Cathedral. My days are filled with the hustle and bustle of our local markets, where the aroma of fresh spices and the warmth of community fill the air.
