Living in Essequibo, I am surrounded by the enchanting landscapes that Guyana has to offer, from the Pomeroon River to the bustling streets of Georgetown. I often reminisce about the days spent exploring the local markets, where the aroma of fresh fruits and spices lingers in the air. Each visit reminds me of our rich heritage and the unique flavors that make Guyanese cuisine so special. I am also passionate about engaging with our diaspora community, as we continue to celebrate our culture no matter where we are in the world.

Like many, I've seen the struggles we face, such as environmental issues and the garbage situation—something I believe we can improve together.
