Greetings! My name is Balram Seeram, a passionate teacher rooted in the vibrant and diverse culture of Guyana. I reside in Bank Essequibo, a picturesque area nestled in Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes and rich traditions of our beloved country come alive. Guyana is a place where the warmth of our people shines just as brightly as our tropical sun—though I must admit, I have little tolerance for the heat! 😅

It’s important to recognize how our culture intertwines with others, especially as we see the influence of our Caribbean neighbors in music and food.
In my role as an educator, I strive to nurture a love for learning while fostering a sense of community. Whether I am sharing stories about our beautiful landmarks or discussing our hopes for the future in light of the recent oil discoveries, I aim to connect my students not only to their roots but also to the broader Guyanese diaspora.
