Hello! I’m Barbara Wilson, a proud housewife living in the serene Upper Pom River area of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land where the Essequibo River flows and the lush greenery cradles a culture that is as diverse as it is rich. From the aromatic spices of our famous curry to the heartwarming gatherings around a platter of dalpuri, food has always been a bridge that connects me to my community and to the Guyanese diaspora around the world.
Although I now reside in Guyana, I cherish the stories and experiences of my family members who have ventured abroad, especially those in America and the Caribbean.
