Hello! My name is Benie Persaud, a proud Guyanese driver based in the vibrant community of Coast 12 Public Road in Columbia, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been surrounded by the rich culture of our people, from the savory delights of pepperpot and roti to the lively celebrations of Mashramani. These experiences have instilled in me a deep appreciation for our heritage, and I take pride in sharing this warmth with everyone I meet on the road.
Driving in our beautiful country, I have the privilege of witnessing its stunning landscapes, from the lush rainforests to the serene Essequibo River. I often find myself reminiscing about the stories shared in every village, where life can be a bit of a “fight and cuss,” as we say, yet it is also filled with laughter and camaraderie.
