Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Exley Benjamin, and I proudly call the beautiful Island of Barima-Waini my home. As a fisherman, I spend my days out on the river, where the gentle currents carry the stories of our ancestors and the vibrant life of the waters fuels our communities. Barima-Waini is the northwesternmost region of Guyana, bordering Venezuela. Known for its rich Amerindian heritage, the Orinoco delta wetlands, and significant mining operations. Population center is Mabaruma.
