Welcome to my corner of the world! I’m Bernadette Atkinson, a proud resident of 278 Extension Scheme in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. Growing up here has given me a deep appreciation for the rich cultural mosaic that defines our nation. Living in this unique region, I find immense joy in the simplicity of life along the Pomeroon River. Whether it’s a spontaneous gathering with friends at Maureen’s Dale or a serene afternoon watching the sunset over the water, these experiences are what shape my identity. The warmth of our communities, where everyone partakes in each other's customs, is a testament to our unity and shared values. I’ve also witnessed the remarkable growth of Guyana, especially with the airport developments that have put us on the map!
