Growing up near landmarks like the Mission Kabakaburi, I cherish the connection with nature and the adventures that await in our beautiful landscapes. I often reminisce about the joyous gatherings by the Kairimap River in St. Monica, where families come together to celebrate and share laughter. As an advocate for our local culture, I believe in the importance of educating our children about the significance of their roots and the beauty of our traditions, ensuring they carry forward the spirit of Guyana wherever they may go.
