Hello! Iām Bibi Boodram, a dedicated teacher residing on the beautiful Coast Demerara 18 Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up along the banks of the Pomeroon River has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our lush landscapes and vibrant culture. The rich diversity in our communities influences my teaching style, as I strive to incorporate local history and traditions into my lessons, encouraging my students to take pride in their heritage while advancing their education.
As a proud Guyanese, I cherish our culinary delights ā from savory pepperpot to sweet black cake, which often brings family and friends together during festive occasions. Iām also passionate about celebrating our local festivals, like Mashramani, where the colors and sounds of our culture come alive. My roots in Pomeroon remind me of the strength of our community and the importance of education as a means to uplift ourselves and our families, especially in a world where migration has become so prevalent.
