Hello! I’m Bibi Salim, a proud teacher residing in the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, specifically on the scenic Back Street North in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in the rich soil of Guyana, where the lush landscapes, from the majestic Pomeroon River to the cultural heartbeat of Georgetown, have shaped who I am. I embrace the diverse tapestry of our people, celebrating our unique heritage that blends African, Indigenous, and East Indian influences, which is evident in our festivals, music, and, of course, our delicious culinary delights like curry, cook-up rice, and pepperpot.
