Greetings! My name is Bibi Mohamed, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, my life has been deeply enriched by the vibrant culture and warm community that Guyana has to offer. Growing up surrounded by lush landscapes and the sweet sounds of the Demerara River, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for our local heritage, from the tantalizing seven curry dishes to the irresistible flavors of street food that bring us together. Whether it's sharing a plate of fried rice or enjoying some of the best Chinese food in the Caribbean, I cherish the moments spent with family and friends around our dining table.
As a resident of Richmond Housing, I've seen firsthand how our small but mighty nation has so much to offer. Our cultural diversity reflects in everything we do, and I have a deep respect for the traditions passed down through generations. Whether it’s celebrating Mashramani with exuberance or simply enjoying a peaceful day at the local markets, I find joy in showcasing the beauty of Guyana to anyone willing to listen. I believe that even though our country may be small and often overlooked, the warmth of our people and the richness of our customs hold a special place in the hearts of many, especially those in the diaspora.
