Hello! I’m Bishun Persaud, a proud Guyanese chauffeur based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, specifically along the Coast 49 Public Road in Hibernia. Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I have a strong connection to the rich culture of Guyana, from the lush landscapes to the vibrant communities that make our country unique. I enjoy sharing insights about our local landmarks and the warmth of our people with those I meet on the road.
One of my favorite things about Guyana is our delicious cuisine! If you ever visit, you must try dhal puri with mango sour or a hearty chicken curry—just don’t make the mistake of having dhal puri alone! And let’s not forget the pepperpot paired with some homemade bread; it’s a staple that brings back fond memories of family gatherings and celebrations.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I find great joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese, whether they’re near or far. It's heartening to witness our country’s growth and the pride we take in our heritage.
