Hello! My name is Boadnarine Harrinarine, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam in Guyana. As a teacher, I dedicate my life to nurturing the minds of the next generation, instilling in them the values of hard work and cultural appreciation. Growing up alongside the Pomeroon River, I've always cherished our rich biodiversity and the warmth of our community, whether it’s sharing a plate of pepper pot or celebrating Mashramani with friends and family.
Having lived in various parts of the world, I understand the importance of staying connected to our roots. I love hearing stories from the Guyanese diaspora, especially those from places like Las Vegas, where I know many of my fellow countrymen thrive while keeping our culture alive. I often find joy in little things, like reminiscing about the lush landscapes of Camuni Hill or the stunning views from Upper Pomeroon.
