Greetings! My name is Boudhnarine Ghanshiam, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’m a labourer dedicated to my work and community. Essequibo, with its lush landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River, has shaped my life, offering the rich bounty of our land—from fresh fish to the sweet taste of ripe mangoes and cassava. The annual festivals, with their lively dances and traditional dishes, remind me of the warmth and resilience of our people.
